Diamond Coring Bit Series
In the light of types of bit cutters, diamond coring bit can be classified into following 3 categories.
Cutters are thermally stable polycrystalline diamonds(TSP). Having all the advantages of TSP bits, core bits of this kind are designed to drill medium-hard and less abrasive formations.
Cutters are polycrystalline diamond compacts (PDC). Having all the advantages of PDC bits, core bits of this kind are designed to drill soft to medium-hand formations.
Cutters are natural diamonds. Having all the advantages of natural diamond bits, core bits of this kind are designed to drill hard and abrasive formations.
Features of CT303: Arc crown profile, Triangular shaped TSP cutters, cylindrical TSP cutters and natural diamond cutters set on O
D and ID gages. Radial fluid courses. Suitable for coring in medium-hard and less abrasive formation.
Features of RC476: Arc crown profile for better drilling stability.PDC cutters, cylindrical TSP cutters set on OD and ID gages. OD fluid course for optimum cleaning and cooling, Heavy cutter density, suitable for coring in soft to medium-hard formations.
Features of ZC476: Arc crown profile for better drilling stability.PDC cutters, cylindrical TSP cutters set on OD and ID gages. OD fluid course for optimum cleaning and cooling, Heavy cutter density, suitable for coring in soft to softer formations.
